Why is there such a thing as SecureMyFamily?
I have been an I.T. and Cybersecurity professional for almost 30 years.
I could talk about:
The rate of change over the years
The number of innovations
How much technology has enabled us
etc.
None of those things inspired me. What has inspired me to launch this labor of love is very simple.
30 years of sitting at various family gatherings, conversations with friends, etc., and listening over and over again to tales of:
Facebook account takeovers
Scams
Privacy issues
Tech management debacles
Managing kids as they grow up with tech
Every year, my heart broke because I knew I couldn't scale to be everyone's personal tech support. Then it occurred to me.
PERHAPS THERE IS A WAY TO SCALE.
We scale through technology and COMMUNITY.
